What is a panel antenna?
This WiFi range extender antenna is a flat, lightweight, and directional WiFi antenna - meaning that all of the signal is sent & received in one direction. These are excellent performers when you know the direction that you want to send and/or receive a signal from; examples are a laptop that is distant from a router and needs to point the antenna in one specific direction, or a router that is positioned against a wall and only wants the signal to be projected forward. Our mini-panel packs a powerful gain of 3x power, this panel antenna is compact - only 4 inches (10cm) square and less than 2/8" (1 cm) thick - it is ideal for mounting on a laptop (using the included self-adhesive velcro,) or on a router or access point. It is shipped complete with a " (8cm) bendable mounting extension with an RP-SMA connector. Made for traveling it can be easily stored in a jacket pocket or laptop bag. Adapters for most WiFi devices and extension cables are available in our store.

It is a steal. It came without instructions and also without cable. I write them twice and they didn't bother to reply.Amazon should refund to their customers and take it from their website
it did fit my router and is bendable. i ordered this antenna and was shipped fast. the description" comes with rp-sma connector and velcro mounting" no velcro. with the +8.5 dbi antenna, i got 3 bars with my laptop 12" from it and dropped out completly at 15'in same room.At 3 ounces it doesn't even make a good paper weight. my oem antenna had 3 bars at 100 ft.+ outside and the router in back.+8.5 dBi WiFi Mini Panel Range Booster for Wireless Internet better than the Super Cantenna
